Animal-assisted therapy
Professionally guided therapy – safe contact with animals that relaxes, supports and strengthens your well-being.

Animal-assisted therapy is a professionally guided experience in which a trained therapist uses the presence of animals to support relaxation, emotional balance and personal growth. The animals encourage a sense of safety, acceptance and trust, while the therapist makes sure the contact is safe, adapted and goal-oriented.
Sessions take place with different animals (alpacas, horses, sheep, hens …), chosen according to each person's needs, goals and wishes.
How a session works
- Introductory talk: the therapist gets to know the participant and their needs, and sets goals.
- Introducing the animals and the safe setting: how to approach and behave around them.
- Guided activities, tailored to the person and the goals of the therapy.
- Observation and reflection: the therapist helps recognise feelings and reactions during contact with the animals.
- Closing: a talk about the experience and integrating what happened.
“Animals don't judge – and the therapist helps you turn their influence into support, learning and well-being.
Who it's for
- Children and adults experiencing stress, anxiety or emotional distress.
- People who want to build self-confidence, social skills or trust.
- Anyone who wants relaxation and a professionally guided, goal-oriented experience with animals.
