Quails
Small birds with big needs.
Our quails are tiny, lively and curious birds who remind us again and again that a happy life is not about size, but about being able to live true to your nature.
In intensive farming, quails often live in small cages with wire floors, which make cleaning easier for the farmer but can cause the birds pain and leg injuries. In such conditions they have little chance to move and express their natural behaviour.
At Posest Magnolija, we chose a different life for them.
Our quails live in a spacious aviary with plenty of hiding places, sand for bathing and, above all, lots of room to explore, scratch about and socialise. Here they can do what quails love most – search for little treats, hide among the plants, enjoy sand baths and curiously explore their surroundings.
Watching these tiny birds, we realise that animal welfare is not just a full food bowl and a safe home, but also the freedom to express natural behaviour.
And that is exactly what we want to give every resident of our estate – however small.
